Autumn, a travel agency owner from Chicago, and Michael, a director and playwright from Alabama, are reeling from recent divorces when their worlds collide one rainy afternoon in Central Park. Michael rushes to Autumn’s aid when she is mugged and she is drawn to his Southern charm.

Michael escorts Autumn back to her hotel and they sardonically discuss their inescapable ties to their exes. In their continued commiseration, they become intimately closer - trading family anecdotes and reading odes to one another – applying the meaning to their own budding feelings for each other. They give in to their shared passion and, as dawn approaches, Autumn frets that Michael may leave her come daylight.

Chicago Love Tapestry is a one-act romantic comedy with strong thematic elements about the "tangled web" that love weaves. New relationships seem to develop inevitably in the wake of relationships gone awry – but some can never quite relinquish the baggage that should be left behind.

Can Autumn and Michael leave behind their past and start anew? Will a tapestry’s charm bring good luck and realize her sweet dreams of love? Find out in the delightfully romantic and humorous Chicago Love Tapestry!
